Blood donor centre seeks O-negative, A-positive and B-negative blood

The Latvian State Blood Donor Centre is urging people to donate blood of all blood groups, with an especially urgent need for O-negative, B-negative and A-positive blood, LSM reported.

The centre is organising mobile donation drives in different parts of Latvia to make blood donation more accessible. People are advised to check the schedule at www.donors.lv and on the centre’s social media accounts to find the nearest and most convenient donation location.

Donors are also welcome at permanent blood donation sites. The website also provides information about donation restrictions.
