Defence ministry chancellor to address Estonia’s defence-sector turmoil

Estonian public broadcaster ERR reports that Ministry of Defence Chancellor Kaimo Kuusk will discuss the turmoil in the country’s defence sector on the ETV programme “Esimene stuudio” at 9.40 p.m.

The defence minister is stepping down, while a failed shell deal, inadequate stock accounting and conflicting explanations have raised questions about the ministry’s management.

The programme will examine why promises have not been enough to resolve the problems. It will be hosted by Johannes Tralla and edited by Mirjam Mäekivi.
