Train kills 16-year-old in Kaunas district

A 16-year-old boy was killed by a train in Kaunas district on Saturday evening, LRT reported, citing the Delfi news portal.
The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. in the village of Neveronys. Preliminary information indicates that the train struck the boy as he was walking beside the tracks.
A pretrial investigation has been launched.
