One killed and two injured in three-vehicle crash near Ikšķile

One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash involving two cars and a truck on the Daugavpils Highway between Ikšķile and Ogre on Thursday, LSM reported, citing the State Police and LETA.

Police received the call at 1:25 p.m. Two passengers in one of the cars were injured, while another passenger died.

Traffic at the crash scene is currently blocked. Police are working at the scene to establish the precise circumstances of the accident.
