Rakvere rapper Masta Robusta releases second EP

Rakvere producer and rapper Masta Robusta has released his second EP, “Reipaid Ridu Rezzidel Radadel,” ERR reports.

Masta Robusta is the stage name of Mart Rauba, who is also known as MC Lord, a member of the rap groups Öökülm, TMF and RLV Massive. Rauba has been active in the rap scene for more than 20 years and began making and producing music as Masta Robusta about a decade ago.

According to Rauba, the new release brings together experimental hip-hop, breakbeat, UK garage, house and punk, along with more lyrics in Estonian. He describes the seven-track EP as his most mature work to date.

Alongside six entirely new tracks, the EP includes Masta Robusta’s remix of RLV Massive’s song “Põleme särinal,” featuring Stupid F, J.O.C and Maxtract. Rait Laud plays guitar on the final track, which also features vocals by Käroli Dreimann.

Masta Robusta’s first EP, “OU!EP,” was released in 2020. The new EP is initially available only digitally, but Rauba said it could also be released in physical form in the near future.
