Kaido Ole opens Krt exhibition at Tallinn gallery

Artist Kaido Ole opened his new solo exhibition Krt at the Temnikova and Kasela Gallery in Tallinn on August 28, ERR reported.

The exhibition focuses on Ole’s recent paintings, in which a recurring motif of burning gives form to the difficult-to-define and all-encompassing “bad”.

Ole describes the exhibition as an attempt “to put the bad inside into pictures”. “Through art, the bad can find a place and the world can at least briefly return to balance,” he said.

Krt is Ole’s third exhibition this year. At the beginning of the year, he opened the exhibition Müÿa maja Raplas in Rapla, and in February he presented examples from his art collection at Vaal Gallery.

Krt will remain open at the Temnikova and Kasela Gallery until October 10.
