Sunday to bring warm weather and brief rain in Lithuania

Sunday will be mostly pleasant in Lithuania, with temperatures rising to 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, although some areas may see brief rain and thunderstorms, LRT reported.

Janas Voitkevičius, a forecaster at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, told LRT Radio that Monday, the final day of summer, will bring rain and possible thunderstorms in some areas. Winds will weaken to 6 to 11 metres per second. Temperatures will reach 13 to 18 degrees overnight and 20 to 25 degrees during the day, rising to 27 degrees in southern districts.

Tuesday, September 1, is expected to be rainy, with rain and thunderstorms forecast in many areas. Temperatures will range from 18 to 23 degrees.

Rainy weather is also expected on Wednesday, with temperatures rising to 18 to 23 degrees.
