Sunday to bring rain and thunderstorms

Rain and occasional thunderstorms are expected on Sunday as a low-pressure trough from Scandinavia moves across the Baltic region overnight, ERR reported, citing Aktuaalne kaamera. Temperatures will reach up to 21 degrees Celsius.

The night will be mostly cloudy, with rain moving from west to east. Southeast and southerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will remain between 13 and 17 degrees.

Sunday morning will be cloudy with some clear spells, and rain will fall in many places. Moderate southerly winds will prevail, with temperatures ranging from 13 to 18 degrees.

Showers will continue during the day, with thunderstorms possible in some places. Southerly and southwesterly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 12 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to between 17 and 21 degrees.

The evening will bring variable cloud cover and isolated showers. Moderate southwesterly and southerly winds will continue, while temperatures will reach up to 19 degrees.

The new week will also begin with rain. Showers are expected in many places on Monday, both overnight and during the day, with thunderstorms possible. Overnight temperatures will range from 13 to 18 degrees and daytime temperatures from 18 to 23 degrees.

Tuesday, September 1, is also forecast to be rainy. There may be scattered showers overnight, while rain will fall in many places during the day, with thunderstorms possible. Showers are expected to become less frequent by evening. Night-time temperatures will be a few degrees lower, while daytime temperatures will reach up to 22 degrees.

Showers will continue on Wednesday and Thursday. Winds will remain moderate, overnight temperatures will fall to around 10 degrees by Thursday, and daytime temperatures will remain between 16 and 20 degrees.
