Kaisa Ling launches House of Palagan production company

Culture journalist and blues singer Kaisa Ling has founded House of Palagan, a new production company whose opening event will be held on September 4 at Fotografiska Tallinn, ERR reports.

The late-night cabaret will feature a programme curated by Ling, with performances by Katarina von Schatz of Burlesque Estonia, Jaakko Repola of Carousel Company, Kairi Leivo of Naised Köögis and pole dancer Eliise Piirla. Rene Paul will accompany the performers on piano.

House of Palagan was founded by Ling, comedian and pianist Rene Paul, and producer Merily Viita. The three have worked independently in Estonia’s cultural and entertainment sectors for more than 10 years.

“The audience has already found and approved our cabaret evenings. They have a habit of dressing up, bringing friends along and coming to see where we have set ourselves up this time,” Ling said.
