Fire in Vilnius district extinguished after black smoke alarms residents

A fire that produced thick black smoke broke out in Vilnius’s Naujamiestis district on Wednesday evening, LRT.lt reported. The blaze started near Savanorių Avenue and was extinguished without injuries.

The State Fire and Rescue Department confirmed to LRT.lt that a construction trailer had caught fire. The report was received at 6:14 p.m., and the fire was contained by 6:23 p.m.
