Police continue search for missing Kaišiadorys woman

LRT reports that police are continuing to search for Vida Ladienė, a woman from Kaišiadorys who has been missing since July 31.

Ladienė left an acquaintance’s home on Žaslių Street in Kaišiadorys at about noon that day and did not return. At around 12:10 p.m., she took a train from Kaišiadorys towards Kaunas and got off at Palemonas railway station.

She was last seen that evening in Petrašiūnai, a district of Kaunas.

Ladienė is about 168 centimetres tall and of medium build, with light-coloured hair. When she left, she was wearing a blue sleeveless suit with long trousers, a dark blue shirt, sports shoes and a white hat. She was carrying a black leather handbag.

Police said she has difficulty orienting herself in her surroundings.
