Man killed in Kėdainiai district, intoxicated suspect detained

A man was killed in Kėdainiai district on Tuesday evening, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.

The body of a man born in 1976 was found at about 7:20 p.m. in a home in Pašiliai village. He had injuries.

A suspected offender born in 1978 was detained in custody after testing 1.64 parts per thousand alcohol in his blood.

Police have opened a pre-trial investigation into the killing.
