Scattered showers forecast for Wednesday

ERR reports that scattered showers are expected in some parts on Wednesday as a high-pressure area extends from Scandinavia across the Baltic Sea. The weather will be mostly dry, winds will ease and temperatures will approach 20 degrees Celsius during the day.

The night will be clear or partly cloudy and dry, although fog will form in places. Winds will be light and variable, with northerly winds of 2 to 8 metres per second on the coast at the start of the night. Temperatures will range from 5 to 11 degrees, reaching up to 15 degrees on the coast.

Wednesday morning will be largely clear and dry, with fog in some places. Light northerly winds will prevail, and temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees.

During the day, cloud cover will be light and changeable, with showers possible in isolated locations. Northerly winds will blow at 1 to 7 metres per second, and temperatures will reach 17 to 22 degrees. In the evening, cloud cover will decrease and temperatures will remain between 15 and 18 degrees.

The second half of the week will become warmer and drier. Thursday will be mostly dry, with light winds and temperatures of 6 to 15 degrees at night and 18 to 22 degrees during the day.

Friday night will also be dry and foggy under the influence of high pressure. Cloud formations during the day will not bring significant rain, although light showers are possible. Winds will be light and variable on the mainland and gradually strengthen on the islands.

Showers will reach the islands on Saturday, while most of the mainland will remain largely dry. Southeasterly winds will strengthen and daytime temperatures will rise to 23 degrees. On Sunday night, rain will spread from the islands to the mainland, with showers expected in many places during the day.
