Knife-wielding accomplice helps rob Vilnius store of drinks

A woman and a knife-wielding accomplice stole alcoholic and energy drinks from a shop in Vilnius, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.

The robbery took place at about 6:24 p.m. on Monday on Pylimo Street in the central part of the city.

The woman took the drinks and left the shop without paying. When a security employee tried to stop her, her accomplice opened the store door, threatened the employee with a knife and fled with her.

The material loss was valued at 88 euros. A pre-trial investigation into robbery has been launched.
