Wind and showers to ease across Estonia on Monday
Wind and showers will ease on Monday as the low-pressure system shaping the weather moves northeast, ERR reports. Rain will remain more frequent in eastern Estonia overnight but will become less widespread towards morning, while showers will pass across the country during the day.
In western Estonia, the night will bring partly cloudy skies and occasional showers. Eastern Estonia will remain cloudy and rainy. Northwestern and westerly winds will reach 4 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second and up to 17 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees.
On Monday morning, western Estonia will have partly cloudy skies, while eastern Estonia will see cloudy conditions with some clear spells. Occasional showers are possible. Winds will blow from the northwest and west at 3 to 9 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 14 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to 12 to 16 degrees.
During the day, cloud cover will be variable. Showers will occur in places before midday and in many areas during the afternoon. Northwestern and westerly winds will reach 3 to 8 metres per second, with gusts of up to 11 metres per second and up to 15 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will reach 16 to 19 degrees.
Monday evening will be partly cloudy with occasional showers. Northwestern winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 14 metres per second. Temperatures will remain between 14 and 18 degrees.
Tuesday will bring occasional showers, with temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees overnight and 16 to 19 degrees during the day. Wednesday may be dry, with daytime temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees. Occasional showers are expected on Thursday and Friday, while winds will remain relatively calm.
