Police investigate alleged sexual assault at Panemunė beach

LRT reported, citing Tauragė County Police, that a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted at the beach in Panemunė, a town in Pagėgiai municipality.

The incident reportedly took place on Friday at around 3 p.m. The woman, who was born in 1987, suffered physical pain.

Police have opened a pretrial investigation into sexual assault and rape.
