LTV opens Latgale election debate to in-person audience

LSM is inviting viewers to attend Latvijas Televīzija’s live pre-election debate for candidates in the 15th Saeima election in Daugavpils.

The debate will take place on August 27 at Daugavpils Saules School, a design and art secondary school, at 8 Saules Street. Viewers must arrive by 8.20 p.m. The live broadcast on LTV1 will begin at 9.10 p.m., and the debate will end after 11 p.m.

Attendees are asked not to wear clothing or accessories, or bring other items, displaying political party or candidate symbols, names or campaign materials.

Each viewer must register individually. Confirmation of attendance will be sent by email several days before the broadcast. Applicants must agree to read the audience selection rules before registering.
