Two men found dead in public places in Vilnius

Two men were found dead in public places in Vilnius on Wednesday, LRT reported. The bodies were discovered in the Naujamiestis and Žirmūnai districts.

At about 5:40 a.m. on Wednesday, the body of a man born in 1978 was found on Birželio 23-iosios Street in Naujamiestis. A pre-trial investigation has been opened to establish the cause of death.

At about 8:20 p.m. the same day, the body of a man born in 1957 was found in a public place on Žirmūnų Street. There were no visible signs of violence. A pre-trial investigation has also been opened in that case to establish the cause of death.
