A 73-year-old woman told police that unknown callers had contacted her at home for more than a month, from July 3 to August 14. Claiming to represent an investment fund, they fraudulently obtained 9,394 euros from her.
Police also received a report from a man born in 1942, who said that 1,760 euros had been taken from his bank account at about 7:45 a.m. on Saturday.
