Saudi Arabian listed company Bindawood has made the winning bid of 135.25 million euros for E-Piim Tootmise dairy plants in Paide and Põltsamaa, ERR reports.

The public auction for the two production units ended on August 14. Äripäev reported that Bindawood plans to complete the purchase after obtaining all necessary permits.

Bindawood said the acquisition would support its strategic goals of diversifying its business segments, expanding investment in the food sector and strengthening its food production and industrial capacity. The purchase would be financed through the company’s existing financial resources, with returns expected over the medium to long term.

The transaction was made through Bindawood’s Estonian subsidiary Juust and Jubn OÜ, which is represented in Estonia by Sorainen lawyers.

Bindawood Holding reported revenue of 1.46 billion euros and profit of 62.4 million euros last year. Its securities are traded on the Saudi stock exchange.

The starting price for the Paide and Põltsamaa units was 80 million euros. E-Piim Tootmise plant in Järva-Jaani, offered at a starting price of 8 million euros, did not find a buyer.

A court declared E-Piim Tootmise bankrupt on March 12, 2026.
