Monday to bring rain and temperatures up to 22 degrees

Monday will be rainy in Estonia, with temperatures rising to 22 degrees and thunderstorms possible in places, ERR reports. A deepening low-pressure system over Finland will remain largely stationary and shape the weather across the Baltic countries.

The coming night will bring variable cloud cover and occasional showers. Southwesterly and westerly winds will blow at 3 to 8 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second. After midnight, northwesterly winds will develop on the islands. On the northern coast, winds will reach 6 to 11 metres per second, with gusts of up to 17 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 12 to 17 degrees.

Monday morning will be clear or partly cloudy, with occasional showers in northern Estonia. Winds will blow from the southwest and west, turning northwest in northwestern Estonia, at 5 to 10 metres per second and up to 16 metres per second in gusts along the coast. Temperatures will be between 14 and 17 degrees.

During the day, cloud cover will vary and rain will fall intermittently in many places. Winds will mainly be from the west at 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second and up to 16 metres per second on the northern coast. Temperatures will rise to between 17 and 22 degrees.

In the evening, cloud cover will remain light and variable, with occasional showers near the southern border. Westerly and northwesterly winds will blow at 3 to 9 metres per second, reaching 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will remain between 16 and 19 degrees.

Variable cloud cover and showers are also expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with thunderstorms possible in places on Tuesday. Average temperatures will be around 19 degrees. On Thursday, the average temperature will fall to 18 degrees as cloud cover increases and the day becomes rainy. Friday will bring fewer clouds and only isolated showers, while average temperatures rise to 21 degrees.
