Reform Party’s Tallinn branch to confirm new chair

The Reform Party’s Tallinn branch will hold its general assembly at Tallinn Zoo on Sunday to confirm the results of its internal elections, ERR reported. The branch’s current chair, Maris Lauri, is to hand over leadership to her successor.

The assembly was opened at 11:30 by Prime Minister and Reform Party leader Kristen Michal, who spoke about Estonia’s domestic and foreign policy situation.

A political discussion will follow, featuring Lauri, Henri Arras, the Reform Party candidate for the branch chairmanship and leader of the party’s faction on Tallinn City Council, and Õnne Pillak, leader of the Reform Party faction in the Riigikogu, Estonia’s parliament.

The discussion will focus on Tallinn’s political situation, the presidential and parliamentary elections, and the party’s future plans in the capital.
