Artist Ludmilla Siim and artist Marko Kasur opened their joint exhibition “Parallels of Antares” at Vaal Gallery in Tallinn on August 13, ERR reports.
The exhibition is a creative dialogue between the two artists, shaped by their friendship, their desire to learn from one another and their willingness to share knowledge. Although their careers have followed different trajectories and are separated by more than a generation, the exhibition presents them as lines that approach, meet and sometimes intersect.
The works are arranged across four parallel thematic strands: a selection of Siim’s art from the early 1990s to the present; digital art created collaboratively by the two artists; Kasur’s interpretation of the struggle between darkness and light; and his “LEO” collection of silver jewellery, which reflects motifs from the work of Leonhard Lapin.
The exhibition will remain open at Vaal Gallery until September 5.
