ERR names new presenters for ETV morning news

ETV will introduce new presenters for its morning television news when the programme returns on August 24, ERR reports.
Liisbeth Rats will continue presenting the news alongside Anett Peel and Anne Mari Saks. Veronika Uibo, who presented the early news for five years, said goodbye to morning viewers at the final spring edition of Terevisioon and will now focus fully on the evening edition of Aktuaalne kaamera.
Peel is new to television, although many radio listeners already know her voice. She has worked for years as an editor of the national broadcaster’s radio news and has contributed to Vikerraadio and Raadio 2.
Saks has joined the news team after presenting the television programmes NOVA and Meie Bingo. Viewers will also soon become more familiar with her through radio news.
Terevisioon will return to ETV on August 24 at its usual time of 6.45 a.m. The opening programme will also reveal who will take over Reimo Sildvee’s role as presenter.
