Police continue search for missing woman who left train in Palemonas

Police in Kaišiadorys are continuing to search for Vida Ladienė, 70, who disappeared on July 31, LRT reported, citing a police statement.

Ladienė left an acquaintance’s home on Žaslių Street in Kaišiadorys at about noon and did not return. About 10 minutes later, she took a train from Kaišiadorys towards Kaunas and got off at Palemonas railway station.

She is about 168 centimetres tall, of medium build and has light-coloured hair. When she left, she was wearing a blue sleeveless suit with long trousers, a dark blue shirt, sports shoes and a white hat. She was carrying a black leather handbag.

Police said Ladienė has difficulty orienting herself in her surroundings.
