Police seek woman who got off train at Palemonas station

Police in Kaišiadorys are continuing to search for Vida Ladienė, born in 1956, who disappeared after leaving an acquaintance’s home on July 31, LRT reported, citing a police statement.

Ladienė left the home on Žaslių Street in Kaišiadorys at about noon and did not return. At approximately 12:10 p.m., she took a train from Kaišiadorys towards Kaunas and got off at Palemonas railway station.

She is about 168 centimetres tall, of medium build and has light-coloured hair. When she left, she was wearing a blue sleeveless suit with long trousers, a dark blue shirt, trainers and a white hat. She was carrying a black leather handbag.

Police said the woman has difficulty orienting herself in her surroundings.
