LRT reported that officers from Aras, Lithuania’s anti-terrorist operations unit, arrested an intoxicated man in Telšiai district after he allegedly displayed illegally held guns and threatened people during a TikTok livestream.

The Police Department said it received a report at about 3:22 p.m. on Monday that a man in Užgiriai village was broadcasting live on TikTok, showing firearms and ammunition and making threats.

Aras officers arrested the suspect, born in 1989, in a Mercedes-Benz CLS 320. He refused to take a sobriety test.

During a search of his home, officers found and seized a possibly homemade automatic weapon, a Beretta pistol, a Borner Sport 331 airsoft pistol and 82 rounds of various calibres.

The suspect was placed in a detention facility. A pretrial investigation has been opened into the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
