Helgi Sallo turns 85 as ERR revisits her career

Beloved Estonian actress Helgi Sallo is celebrating her 85th birthday on August 10, ERR reported, marking the occasion with archive footage and interviews with the jubilarian.

ERR has assembled a retrospective from its archive, featuring material from programmes including “Kunksmoor” from 1992, “Tähelaev” from 2005, “Käbi ei kuku…” from 2018, “Suveduur” from 2021, “Vikerhommik” from 2023 and “OP” from 2025.

ETV2, a television channel, is also marking Sallo’s birthday by showing several programmes featuring her throughout the day.
