A public auction for the bankrupt E-Piim Tootmine production units in Järva-Jaani, Paide and Põltsamaa began on Friday, ERR reported.

The bankruptcy administrator is selling the company’s assets in Paide and its cheese factory in Põltsamaa for a starting price of 80 million euros, excluding VAT.

The sale includes properties at 64 Mündi Road and 62 Mündi Road in Paide, as well as properties at Välja 4, Jõgeva Road 1, Roheline 18 and Kungla 2 in Põltsamaa.

It also includes 80 percent of the share capital of E-Piim Transport OÜ and 22.6 percent of the share capital of BioCC OÜ, along with E-Piim’s trademarks, vehicles, contracts, employment agreements and other assets.

The bankruptcy administrator is separately selling E-Piim Tootmine’s milk powder and butter production business in Järva-Jaani, including its properties, contracts, employment agreements and other assets. The starting price is eight million euros, also excluding VAT.

Both auctions end on August 14.

A court declared E-Piim bankrupt on March 12. The company’s new cheese factory in Paide can process up to 1,200 tonnes of raw milk per day. In 2025, the company exported more than 90 percent of its output.
