Latvia’s Consumer Rights Protection Centre has suspended tourism operator Digitours’ licence after the company filed for insolvency in August 2026, LSM reported. The centre has advised consumers not to buy new trips from the operator or make payments, warning that services may not be provided and money may not be returned.
The centre said it had received several reports that Digitours was cancelling previously booked trips and failing to refund the money paid for them.
As a result, Digitours is no longer authorised to provide package tourism services.
Consumers who bought trips from Digitours but have not received the services or a refund are advised to keep all documents related to the transaction, including contracts, payment confirmations and correspondence with the operator.
The Consumer Rights Protection Centre urged consumers to follow its publicly issued information on the procedure for obtaining refunds.
