High pressure brings Estonia temperatures of up to 23 degrees on Monday

High pressure over the Baltic states will bring mostly dry weather to Estonia on Monday, with temperatures rising to 23 degrees, ERR reported.

The night will be mostly clear and dry, although fog may develop in places. Moderate southwesterly and westerly winds will blow at 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will range from 9 to 17 degrees.

Monday morning will remain clear or partly cloudy, with temperatures between 14 and 18 degrees. During the day, scattered showers are possible. Winds will reach 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second, and temperatures will rise to between 18 and 23 degrees.

The evening will bring partly cloudy but mostly dry conditions. Skies will be clearer in southern Estonia. Winds will ease to 2 to 8 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 12 metres per second, and temperatures will remain as high as 20 degrees.

No significant precipitation is expected on Tuesday. Temperatures will range from 9 to 17 degrees at night and from 19 to 25 degrees during the day.

Wednesday will be similarly warm. The night and the first half of the day will be dry, but scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop in western and northern Estonia towards evening. Thursday will bring showers to many areas, with a renewed risk of thunderstorms and strengthening southwesterly and westerly winds.

On Friday, overnight temperatures will remain around 15 degrees and daytime temperatures will average 22 degrees. The day will be mostly dry, although isolated showers are possible.
