Weather changes expected after sunny Sunday
Lithuania will enjoy sunny and warm weather on Sunday, with temperatures reaching 24–29°C in most regions, according to LRT Radio and LRT.lt meteorologist Paulius Starkus. However, western parts of the country will see more clouds and slightly cooler conditions, with temperatures between 20–23°C. Light rain and thunderstorms are possible in the northwest by evening.
Weather conditions will shift at the start of the week. Monday night will bring increased cloud cover, with short rain showers and thunderstorms expected across the country. A cold atmospheric front will move through on Monday, bringing more clouds, widespread rain, and thunderstorms. Winds will shift to the northwest, occasionally reaching 15–17 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 19–27°C, with cooler conditions in western regions.
Tuesday will see mostly dry weather, though some areas may experience brief rain showers. Northern regions could see more active rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from 18–23°C. Wednesday will be drier, with only brief rain expected during the day. After a cooler night, with temperatures dropping to 9–14°C, daytime temperatures will rise to 20–25°C.
The second half of the week will bring a return to summer warmth.
