Cloudy skies with brief showers expected, temperatures up to 23°C
Lithuania will see cloudy weather with occasional sunshine on Friday, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service, as reported by LRT.
Simona Dalinkevičiūtė, a synoptist at the service, said a low-pressure field will dominate, bringing overcast conditions with clear spells. The morning will remain mostly dry, but cumulus rain clouds will form in the afternoon, leading to short-lived showers in many areas—some possibly heavy. Thunderstorms may accompany the rain, particularly in the eastern part of the country.
Winds will shift direction, with temperatures ranging between 18–23°C. The coolest conditions are expected in the northwest, while the warmest will be in the south. The coast is unlikely to see rain.
On Saturday, there is a slight chance of brief showers along the coast, with temperatures across Lithuania between 20–25°C, reaching around 20–21°C in coastal areas. Moderate westerly winds will prevail.
Sunday will be dry nationwide, including the coast, but warmer, with temperatures climbing to 22–27°C—around 24°C near the sea. Winds will be light to moderate, mainly from the south.
