Another suspect detained in Panevėžys district murder investigation

Police in Panevėžys have detained a second man in connection with a fatal stabbing in the district, LRT reports.

The body of a 52-year-old man was found on July 15 at around 18:20 in Liūdynė village, Panevėžys district. Authorities confirmed the death was violent. A 37-year-old suspect was initially arrested, and a pre-trial investigation for murder was launched.

On Friday, police announced the detention of another suspect, a 52-year-old man, in the same case.
