Lithuania will see a weather shift this weekend after a hot Friday, according to Ineta Daunoravičiūtė, a synoptist at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT RADIJAS and LRT.lt.

Friday will remain under the influence of a high-pressure system, with scattered dense clouds and possible light, brief showers, particularly in central regions. Winds will be weak, and temperatures are expected to reach 24–29°C in most areas.

A low-pressure system will approach from the Baltic Sea by Saturday night, bringing overcast skies to western regions. Morning rain is expected along the coast, with winds gradually strengthening. Temperatures will drop to 15–20°C at night.

More significant changes will arrive on Saturday, with cloudy skies, intermittent rain, and thunderstorms spreading across much of the country. Some areas may experience heavy downpours, and winds could reach 15–18 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range between 23–28°C.

Sunday will be wet but calmer, with temperatures between 13–18°C at night and 21–26°C during the day. The start of the following week will be cooler, with temperatures around 16–21°C.
