Former Lithuanian prime minister Inga Ruginienė has moved out of the official residence in Turniškės, according to her advisor Ignas Algirdas Dobrovolskas, who confirmed the information to ELTA.

Meanwhile, new prime minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius does not plan to move into the residence with his family, though he has not ruled out staying there occasionally if needed. His predecessors, Ruginienė and Gintautas Paluckas, both lived in the residence with their families during their terms.

The Seimas approved the programme of the new government, led by Sinkevičius, on Tuesday. Following its approval, the new prime minister and the members of the 21st cabinet took their oaths of office. Ruginienė’s government resigned after the ruling coalition was reformed, and Sinkevičius announced his decision to lead a new cabinet.
