Lithuania to see sunny weather with temperatures up to 28°C, scattered showers expected

Lithuania will experience warm and mostly sunny weather on Wednesday, with temperatures reaching up to 28°C, though some areas may see light rain, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Sinoptik Elena Kliukina told LRT Radio that the day will be relatively calm and dry, with scattered showers possible but plenty of sunshine, especially in the afternoon. Winds will come from the northwest at 5–10 m/s. Highs will range between 23–28°C, except in the Curonian Spit, where temperatures will stay around 20–22°C.

Thursday is expected to remain dry, with weak northerly winds strengthening slightly to 4–9 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will hover around 11–16°C, while daytime highs will again reach 23–28°C. The Curonian Spit will see temperatures of 20–22°C.

Friday will bring short-lived rain showers and a return of thunderstorms. Winds will remain light, primarily from the southeast. Temperatures will continue to rise gradually, with lows of 13–18°C and highs of 24–29°C.

The weekend will also feature brief rain showers and summer thunderstorms, with temperatures remaining steady and warm.
