Lithuania to see sunny weather with temperatures up to 28°C, scattered showers expected

Lithuania will experience warm and mostly sunny weather on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching up to 28°C, though some areas may see light rain, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Sinoptik Elena Kliukina told LRT Radio that the day will be relatively calm and dry, with sunshine dominating, especially in the afternoon. Winds will come from the northwest at 5–10 m/s. Temperatures will range between 23–28°C, except in the Curonian Spit, where it will be cooler at 20–22°C.

Wednesday will remain dry, with weak northern winds strengthening slightly to 4–9 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will hover around 11–16°C, while daytime highs will again reach 23–28°C. The Curonian Spit will stay at 20–22°C.

From Thursday, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected to return. Winds will be light, mostly from the southeast. Temperatures will continue to rise, with nighttime lows of 13–18°C and daytime highs of 24–29°C. The weekend will also bring scattered showers and summer thunderstorms, with temperatures remaining stable and warm.
