Rain and thunderstorms expected Sunday, temperatures may reach 26°C
Lithuania will see rain and thunderstorms in some areas on Sunday, with temperatures potentially climbing to 26°C, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.
Short bursts of rain are forecast across many regions, accompanied by thunderstorms in places. Winds will blow from the north and northwest at 5–10 m/s, with gusts of 15–17 m/s possible during thunderstorms. The highest temperatures will range between 21–26°C, though the Curonian Spit will see cooler conditions at 18–20°C.
On Monday, temperatures may rise further, reaching up to 29°C in some areas, but short rain showers and thunderstorms are again expected in many regions. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 14–19°C, with winds from the north and northwest at 4–9 m/s at night and 8–13 m/s during the day.
Tuesday will bring similar conditions, with brief rain and possible thunderstorms in many areas. Temperatures will range from 13–18°C at night to 22–27°C during the day.
