Weather forecast: rain expected soon, but heatwave to persist

Lithuania will see increased cloud cover, rain, and thunderstorms as a cold atmospheric front approaches, according to Ineta Daunoravičiūtė, a synoptician at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT RADIJAS and LRT.lt.

The front will bring denser clouds, with Tuesday starting partly cloudy before clearing to sunny weather. Brief showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible, with temperatures reaching 27–32°C. Overnight temperatures will range between 14–19°C.

On Wednesday, short but heavy rain with thunderstorms and stronger wind gusts is expected, while daytime temperatures will remain high at 28–32°C.
