Air defense exercises begin in Šiauliai
Air defense exercises have started in Šiauliai and will continue until July 3, the Lithuanian Armed Forces told BNS.
The drills, held at the Lithuanian Air Force Base, involve troops from the Air Defense Battalion training in airspace control operations. These include monitoring airspace, detecting targets, transmitting data, and ensuring communications under electronic warfare conditions.
NATO electronic warfare platforms will also participate, simulating enemy actions by creating electronic and communication disruptions, as well as GPS signal jamming.
