Lithuania will see continued summer heat this week, with temperatures reaching up to 35°C in many areas, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Forecaster Paulius Starkus told LRT Radio that Monday will bring clear skies in most regions, though eastern Lithuania may see dense clouds, brief rain, and thunderstorms in the morning. Clouds will disperse later, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, particularly in the northwest. Afternoon rain is more likely in the southeast. Winds will be noticeable from the west-northwest, strengthening during thunderstorms.

Temperatures will remain very high, with most of the country seeing 32–35°C. The southeast and south may reach 36°C, with a slight chance of 37°C. Coastal areas will see 27–30°C. Overnight temperatures will not drop below 17–22°C.

Tuesday will bring little change, with isolated thunderstorms in the south and east. Temperatures will range from 26–31°C in most areas, though the southeast may still see 30–31°C. The western edge will stay cooler at 22–25°C.

Wednesday will see minimal temperature shifts, with highs of 22–27°C, though the southeast may again reach 30–31°C. A cyclone will bring significant rain on Thursday, with temperatures not exceeding 26°C. By the weekend, temperatures will drop closer to 20°C.
