Woman’s body retrieved from lake in Visaginas municipality

Police reported that a woman’s body was retrieved from a lake in Visaginas municipality on Wednesday, LRT reports.

According to the Utena County Chief Police Commissariat, firefighters and rescuers pulled the body of a woman born in 1970 from Visaginas Lake at around 6:47 AM. Medics confirmed her death at the scene.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched to determine the cause of death.
