Rain to persist before 28°C heat returns
Rain will continue in Lithuania for the rest of the week, but temperatures are set to climb back to 28°C by the weekend, according to a forecast from the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service shared with LRT RADIJAS and LRT.lt.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with some sunshine breaking through in the afternoon. Brief showers are expected in many regions, accompanied by moderate to strong winds. Temperatures will range between 16°C and 21°C.
Wednesday night will see clearing skies and no significant rainfall, with winds easing. Overnight temperatures will hover around 7–12°C. The day will remain cloudy, with isolated showers possible and daytime highs of 18–23°C.
Thursday will bring variable cloud cover, with possible showers in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will stay between 10–15°C, while daytime highs will reach 20–25°C.
The weekend will mark a shift, with Saturday expected to warm up to 23–28°C and only a slight chance of rain.
