Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda will deliver his annual address to the Seimas (parliament) on June 16, according to a report by national broadcaster LRT.

Seimas Speaker Juozas Olekas announced the date during a meeting of senior lawmakers on Thursday, stating: “Next week we will begin with the annual address of President Gitanas Nausėda.”

The constitution requires the president to present an annual report reviewing the country’s situation, domestic and foreign policy. This will be Nausėda’s seventh such address. Traditionally, presidents deliver their annual addresses during the spring session of the Seimas.
