Missing Lithuanian teenager found alive in Panevėžys

A missing underage girl reported absent from school in Panevėžys has been found alive, police confirmed on Tuesday.

The Panevėžys District Police announced at around 2:27 PM on June 9 that they were searching for a minor who had left school in Upytė village and failed to return home. Later the same day, a police spokesperson told LRT.lt that the teenager had been located alive.

No further details about the circumstances of her disappearance or discovery were provided.
