Weekend weather forecast brings warmth up to 23°C with scattered thunderstorms

Temperatures in Lithuania will climb to 23°C over the weekend, though some regions may experience thunderstorms, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service.

Synoptic forecaster Paulius Starkus told LRT that Saturday will bring cloudy skies with occasional rain in the morning, particularly in eastern regions. Showers may persist after noon, with scattered rain expected in the northwest. Daytime temperatures will range from 18°C to 23°C, cooler in western areas. Overnight, skies will clear with patchy fog possible, and lows of 6°C to 11°C.

Sunday will see increasing cloud cover, with brief thunderstorms likely in the southwest. More sunshine is expected later in the day, pushing temperatures up to 21–26°C.
