Vilnius police seek public help in search for missing 16-year-old girl

Vilnius police have appealed for public assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old girl who disappeared from a youth centre in the capital last week, LRT.lt reports.

Melinda Marin Žeromskytė, born in 2010, was last seen leaving the LKMS Children and Youth Centre on M. Balinskio Street in Vilnius on May 28 at approximately 6:15 AM. She has not returned since.

The missing girl is described as approximately 164 cm tall, with a slim build, medium-length brown hair, and brown eyes. She has distinctive scar marks on her thighs. When last seen, she was wearing a white knitted top, grey jeans, pink sports shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

Authorities urge anyone who has seen the girl or has information about her whereabouts to immediately contact Senior Investigator Gražina Sinkevič of the Vilnius City Third Police Commissariat’s 1st Operations Division at +370 700 6408 or +370 602 63127, or to call the emergency services line at 112.
