Vilnius police seek public help to identify individuals who damaged Ukrainian flag

lithuania, police investigation, UkraineVilnius police have asked for public assistance in identifying two men suspected of tearing down and damaging a Ukrainian flag in the capital, LRT reports.
The incident occurred on May 10 at around 5:30 AM on Pylimo Street, where unidentified individuals removed the flag from its holder, threw it onto the pavement, and tore it. A pre-trial investigation has been launched for the desecration of a foreign state’s symbols and violation of public order.
Police have released images of the suspects and urge anyone who recognises them to contact Senior Investigator Angelina Kopač of the Vilnius Third Police Commissariat’s Second Operations Division at +370 700 56709 or [email protected]. Witnesses may also call the emergency number 112.
