Missing 10-year-old boy found after mother brings him to child welfare centre

A 10-year-old boy reported missing since Thursday has been found after his mother brought him to a child welfare centre in Kaunas, authorities confirmed on Saturday.

According to a statement by Kaunas police, the child was located at 10:52 AM when his mother accompanied him to the centre. Officers confirmed the boy had been staying with her throughout the search period.

The child had last been seen leaving his school on Partizanų Street in Kaunas on May 28 but had not returned home, prompting a public search effort.
